John 15:5 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, then you will produce much fruit. Without me, you can’t do anything. There are 8 "I AM" statements in the gospel of John, drawing directly on the holy name revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:15, "I AM." The verb tenses here mean more like, "I was, I am, and I always will be." Alpha and Omega and everything in between. For my journaling prompt, I am adding a photo I found on unsplash.com (free photos!) and a haiku (5-7-5 or a total of 17ish) grape vines growing spreading across the horizon ripening faith Photo by Luke Schobert on Unsplash
