Milton United
Methodist Church

is now disbanded as a congregation
but our life in christ lives on

Milton United Methodist Church has disbanded.

Dear Church,
Thank you to everyone who worshiped on January 31, 2021. It was a bitter-sweet joy to be present with so many of you.
As Colin sat next to me yesterday, participating in worship, he observed, “They really love each other. I’ve been around church people that ‘love’ each other. But they really DO love each other.”

That touched Colin. And trust me, Colin hasn’t been moved to tears by a church service in a long long time! Your love is visible. I hope that you find a way to stay in touch.

John 13:35 - Everyone will know that you are my disciples by the fact that you have love for each other.”

Below is a link to our final worship: https://youtu.be/tNIa6KU7g7c .

Remember that the Food-is-Free program is continuing. I would encourage you to drop food off occasionally. It will be more important than ever that folks chip in while Good Seed gets established.

Last, a reminder that the membership list is at Federal Way UMC. You can worship with them at their youtube live broadcast. If you wish, you can also go to worship at a later time and watch the recorded worship. Pastor DJ and the community there want nothing more than for you to find a place that will help you grow in your faith in God, Jesus, Spirit, and community.  And, be a safe place for you to go to.

For our renters, starting today, nothing changes for your process except, please make payments out to “Good Seed UMC.” The rest of the process is exactly the same.

For building contact, please connect with Pastor Joseph Jung. He will be around a couple days a week and able to check on building things during that time.

From Paul’s closing in 1 Corinthians (16:13-14):

13 Listen, stay alert, stand tall in the faith, be courageous, and be strong. 14 Let love prevail in your life, words, and actions.

Amen and amen!

Go now, to love and serve the world.

Peace,

Pastor Terri Stewart
